My Advent Wish #14

As I plan, work on, and print my photographic projects I make notes on what works, how it works, and how I’d like things to work (for me). This post is one of my 2025 Advent Wishlist Calendar. If you are a camera/lens/accessory manufacturer, feel free to implement those ideas.

Dear Santa,

I would love Ilford to extend their annual Ultra Large Format (ULF) and Custom Film Campaign. I love how they car for those photographers who shoot non-standard large film formats and I would love to see them extend it to other film stocks. Right now, the only ULF film stocks available are Delta 100, HP5, and FP4. I’d love to see other Delta films, XP2, Pan F, Ortho Plus, and SFX available in ULF, too. Or, if not in ULF, then at least in 4x5 and 8x10, produced once a year to order, just like the current ULF film.
