As I plan, work on, and print my photographic projects I make notes on what works, how it works, and how I’d like things to work (for me). This post is one of my 2025 Advent Wishlist Calendar. If you are a camera/lens/accessory manufacturer, feel free to implement those ideas.

Dear Santa,

I want editable image ratios. Not just 2:2, 1:1, etc.. I want fully editable ratios. This is easy to implement and an easy win. Do it. Please.

P.S. For the stretch goal, I want an option to trim the RAW file to the selected ratio. But I want it to be an opt-in, selectable choice.
