My Advent Wish #20

As I plan, work on, and print my photographic projects I make notes on what works, how it works, and how I’d like things to work (for me). This post is one of my 2025 Advent Wishlist Calendar. If you are a camera/lens/accessory manufacturer, feel free to implement those ideas.

Dear Santa,

Crossing borders with undeveloped film is now an impossible task due to the new scanners. While some security people are understanding and will allow film to to be inspected by hand, a lot of them can’t be bothered. We need new guidance, procedures, and training in empathy. I am not asking for less penetrable bags or boxes for film, because photographers will invariable be asked to take film out of them and place it on the conveyor belt.

Could you solve this problem, please?
